Friedens takes the call to share the love of Christ seriously. Here are just a few of the ways that we reach out and embody the hands and feet of the Jesus on earth:

• Facilitating, housing and staffing (along with other Washington County UCC churches) the only food pantry in Washington County, IL.

• Providing low cost apartment living for seniors in Irvington.

• Partnering with Irvington Grade School to provide monthly Peace Camps which introduces children to models of peaceful living from around the world into the Irvington community.

• Participating in Our Church’s Wider mission.

• Support local missions of the Illinois South Conference such as Kindercottage, Hoyleton and many more.
